Life is a journey, and every one of us is on our unique path. It' s easy to get caught up in comparing ourselves to others and feeling like we should be at a certain point by a certain time. Some may achieve success early on, while others may face setbacks and obstacles along the way. But we need to accept the fact that, all of us have different purposes to fulfill. So accept and embrace the fact that your journey is different from that of others. Keep learning, keep growing, and most importantly focus on yourself.
I recently met my cousins but was most excited to see my elder sister after almost a decade. She turned 34 a day before. She is one of the most understanding people I know. And by understanding I mean, a good listener, a person who understands what one must be feeling, and a constant supporter of her siblings. She has had her fair share of struggles in her life. From losing her father at the age of 22 to looking after her ill mother, looking after her younger siblings, their education, her own job..you name it! Now that her siblings are all grown-up, and are all independent to take care of themselves, people are bothered about the elder Sister's marriage. People around her keep constantly asking her about her plans, as to when she is planning to get married. On the other hand, my sister seems to have no plans of getting married anytime soon.
