I recently received a beautiful wristwatch from my cousin as a wedding gift. She wasn't able to make it on our D-day, which is why she brought her a gift the day we met. I liked the watch and kept it aside.  I have a couple of watches, but I was always fond of the ones with a broad metal belt. I had seen so many women wearing such watches that I've always wanted one for myself, but couldn't afford it. So I decided not to go for it anymore. To my surprise, my sister got me the same kind of watch...well the color was different but it was exactly the kind of watch I've always wanted for myself. I was jumping with joy when I realized that it was something I always wanted for myself.  I was just surprised, how could this happen?? I recently met my cousins but was most excited to see my elder sister after almost a decade. She turned 34 a day before. She is one of the most understanding people I know. And by understanding I mean, a good listener, a person who understands what one must be feeling, and a constant supporter of her siblings.  She has had her fair share of struggles in her life. From losing her father at the age of 22 to looking after her ill mother, looking after her younger siblings, their education, her own job..you name it! Now that her siblings are all grown-up, and are all independent to take care of themselves, people are bothered about the elder Sister's marriage. People around her keep constantly asking her about her plans, as to when she is planning to get married. On the other hand, my sister seems to have no plans of getting married anytime soon. She's perfectly happy with her life, as she already has a lot on her plate. But people around her need to understand this, happy life doe...

Life is a journey, and every one of us is on our unique path. It' s  easy to get caught up in comparing ourselves to others and feeling like we should be at a certain point by a certain time. Some may achieve success early on, while others may face setbacks and obstacles along the way.  But we need to accept the fact that, all of us have different purposes to fulfill. So accept and embrace the fact that your journey is different from that of others. Keep learning, keep growing, and most importantly focus on yourself.

It's funny how people we know in person oftentimes fail to understand our feelings, our thoughts, our situations..but how people who are miles away from us can relate. Yes.... internet does have some disadvantages but, what amazes me is the fact that, at times even strangers feel like family❤️. It's beautiful. It's amazing.
